The Malaysia Diecast Expo (MDX) is a premier event in Asia that brings together enthusiasts, collectors, and brands of diecast scale models, accessories, and related lifestyle products. Since its inception in 2018, MDX has aimed to unite model car brands, collectors, and enthusiasts, offering attendees the opportunity to explore a wide array of diecast models, from Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) and tuner cars to factory-spec supercars and unique collectibles across various scales, including 1:64, 1:43, and 1:18.
The 2024 edition of MDX was held from May 18-19 at Tropicana Gardens Mall, attracting significant attention from both local and international participants. The event featured exclusive items and pre-production prototypes, akin to an auto show but on a smaller scale. Notably, several ‘diecast celebrities,’ including Glen Chou of Mini GT and Kato from Liberty Walk, were in attendance.
